초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of exercise habits of elderly women on health-related quality of life (HRQoL), activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). The subjects of this study were 75 elderly women aged 65 to 80 residing in Gyeonggi-do and Seoul, and classified them into an exercise habit group (n=39) and a non-exercise habit group (n=36). The presence or absence of exercise habits was confirmed through a health history questionnaire (HHQ), and questionnaires through prior studies were conducted for HRQoL, ADL and IADL. Statistical analysis was SPSS 23.0, and an independent t-test was performed to analyze the difference between the two groups. As a result, in IADL, SF-36 and functional performance (excluding dynamic balance), the elderly group with exercise habits was significantly higher than that of the elderly group with non-exercise habits (p<.05). From the above results, it was considered that the daily life movements of the elderly women and HRQoL were highly related to the presence or absence of exercise habits, and the necessity of exercise habits was suggested.
