초록
Objectives: This study aims to research character of the patients with leukorrheaincluding Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) and symptoms associated withleukorrhea in view of Korean medicine theory. Methods: We studied 71 patients visiting ○○ Korean Hospital from April,2012 to March, 2013. The subjects were categorized in two groups, leukorrheagroup (n=40) and control group (n=31). We investigated the difference of DITIand other physical symptoms between two groups. Results: The average temperature of CV4 in leukorrhea group (29.56±0.80℃)were significantly lower than that of control group (30.12±0.54℃)(p<0.01). Andthere is no statistical difference of temperature of CV17 located in chest areabetween two groups. But temperature difference between CV17 and CV4 (ΔT)in leukorrhea group (1.18±0.55℃) is significantly higher than control group (0.68±0.43℃)(p<0.01). There is no correlation between leukorrhea and some sypmtoms, likemenorrhea, irregular menstruation, fatigue, constipation and loss of appetite. Butleukorrhea group is more likely to suffer from dyspepsia and insomnia than controlgroup. Conclusions: Leukorrhea group is related to lower temperature in lowerabdomen than control group. And patients with leukorrhea are more likely toappear dyspepsia and insomnia than no leukorrhea group.
