Methods: Relevant case studies applying KM treatment on Ovarian cancer patient were searched from 4 domestic journal databases. The general characteristics of the patients, intervention methods, treatment duration, evaluation indicators, results and quality of the reports were analyzed. The quality assessment of studies was analyzed by CAse REport (CARE) guideline. Results: 9 studies (9 cases) were finally selected. Most patients underwent concurrent chemotherapy, and the most frequently used Korean medicine treatments were herbal medicine and acupuncture. Herbal medicine was used in all studies, while acupuncture used in 7 cases. The most commonly used outcome measure was the NRS, followed by Lab tests, ECOG PS and other quality of life indicators. Conclusions: Korean medicine treatment can contribute to alleviating the side effects of chemotherapy and improving the quality of life in ovarian cancer patients. Further randomized controlled trials are needed to systematically assess its efficacy.
