Objectives : The purpose of this study is to retrospectively analyze the clinical characteristics and post-treatment pregnancy outcomes of women who visited a Korean Medicine hospital after experiencing miscarriage and subsequently received herbal medicine therapy. Methods : Medical records of patients who received herbal treatment for post-miscarriage care and later achieved natural conception and childbirth between Jan 1st 2021 and Dec 31st 2023 were reviewed. Key variables such as age, obstetric history, number of miscarriages, and time to conception were analyzed. Results : The average age of participants was 34.8 years, with over 60% classified as advanced maternal age (≥35 years). Among the 15 patients, 73.3% were nulliparous with no prior miscarriage history, and 26.7% had experienced two or more miscarriages, potentially meeting criteria for recurrent pregnancy loss. All participants conceived naturally following herbal therapy, and subsequently delivered full-term or near-term infants. These findings suggest a potential benefit of Korean herbal medicine in reproductive recovery following miscarriage. Conclusions : This study highlights the clinical feasibility of continuous Korean Medicine intervention from post-miscarriage recovery to successful conception and childbirth. The results suggest that herbal therapy may contribute to reproductive health restoration, especially in women with prior pregnancy loss, and support the need for future prospective, large-scale clinical trials.
