본 연구의 목적은 부모의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 변인을 살펴보는데 있다. 연구대상은 K지역에 거주하고 있는 부모 247명이다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 주관적 행복감은 개인특성 중 성별, 연령, 직업, 종교에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 아버지보다는 어머니가 행복감을 더 경험하며, 30세 이상 35세 미만인 경우, 전문직에 종사하며, 종교가 불교인 경우, 행복감을 더 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 주관적 행복감에 대한 변인(개인특성, 심리적 자원)의 영향은 어떠한지 살펴본 결과, 부모의 개인특성은 부모의 주관적 행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 월수입이 많을수록, 출생순위로는 늦게 출생한 경우, 종교가 있는 경우, 행복감을 더 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 심리적 자원의 경우 주관적으로 건강하다고 느낄수록, 자아존중감이 높을수록, 부정적인 생활사건 경험이 적을수록 주관적 행복감을 더 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 주관적 행복감에 대한 전체적인 설명력을 살펴볼 때, 부모의 주관적 행복감에 대한 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 부모의 자아존중감, 주관적 건강이라는 2개의 변인이 추출되었다.
Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to analyze the wellbeing of parents and identify the factors affecting this wellbeing. The subjects were 247 parents living in Gwangju. The data were analyzed with frequency, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression. Croanbach α was computed using the reliabilities of scales. The study examined the population sociological characteristics that affect parents' subjective wellbeing. It showed that gender, age, occupation, and religion significantly affected parents‘ subjective wellbeing. However, years of schooling and income level were not significant. In sum, while outer standards among population sociological characteristics did not significantly affect gender, age, occupation, and religion, which is a subjective satisfaction significance. Among the psychological factors, the factors that affect parents' subjective wellbeing the most were subjective health status and self-esteem life events. In the regression analysis, there were significant relationships between parents' self-esteem, subjective health status, income, religion, and parents' subjective wellbeing. This study’s results show that parents' subjective wellbeing was mostly affected by psychological factors such as self-esteem and subjective heath status.
