초록
Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM) is a subset of lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma characterized by bone marrow involvement and presence of serum monoclonal immunoglobulin M paraprotein. WM is a rare disease, with an annual age-standardized incidence of approximately 0.3–0.4 per million persons in Asia, which is 10-fold lower than that in Western countries. Due to the rarity of WM and irrelevance of imaging in its diagnosis, the imaging spectrum of the disease has not been extensively described. Herein, we present a case of a 76-year-old man with clinical and imaging features of WM, identified using computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
