부모와 또래에 대한 애착이 교정시설 보호청소년의 위험행위와 비행에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구의 목적은 부모와 또래에 대한 애착이 교정시설 보호청소년의 위험행위와 비행에 미치는 영향과 성별에 따른 부모에 대한 애착과 또래집단에 대한 애착 차이를 밝히는 것이다. 본 연구의 연구 대상은 경기도에 소재한 2개 청소년교정시설에서 생활하고 있는 13세에서 18세까지의 비행청소년 354명이다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, t 검증, 단순적률 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 첫째, 비행또래 집단과의 애착이 강할수록 청소년들의 위험행위와 비행이 높아간다. 청소년 비행에 가장 높은 영향력을 가지고 있는 요인은 비행또래 집단에 대한 애착으로 35.34%라는 높은 설명력을 가지고 있다. 둘째, 부모에 대한 애착(신뢰, 대화, 소외되지 않은 관계)의 정도가 낮을수록 비행전체가 높아지며, 특히 부모와 소외된 관계를 가지게 될 때, 위험행위가 높아간다. 셋째, 남녀 간에 부모에 대한 애착의 정도에 유의한 차이는 없으나 여자청소년들이 남자 청소년들보다 훨씬 높은 비행과 위험행위에 가담하고 있다. 본 연구는 교정시설 보호청소년을 위한 청소년복지 프로그램을 개발하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있으나, 경기도 지역의 교정시설 보호청소년만을 연구대상으로 하였으므로 연구결과를 일반화하기에는 한계가 있다.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of attachment to parents and peers on risk behaviors and delinquency among teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 who were incarcerated in two protective and correctional facilities in Kyounggi-Do. In addition, a gender difference in risk and delinquent behaviors among the participants was examined. Using t-test, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression, statistical analysis was performed. The study results revealed as follows: First, the stronger attached to peers, the higher rate of risk behaviors and delinquency for teen boys and girls. Regression analysis indicated that attachment to peers was the most influential factor which accounted for 35.34% of variance in predicting delinquency. Second, the less attached to parents in regard to trust, communication, and feeling of non-isolation, the higher the overall delinquency. In particular, the higher the feeling of being isolated from parents, the higher the risk behaviors. Third, the effect of gender on risk behaviors and delinquency was not significant, but teen girls got involved in risk behaviors and delinquency at much higher rates and serious ways than boys.
