Abstract

The purpose of this study is to suggest a strategy to establish the identity of the business education. The suggested strategies to establish the identity of business education are as follows： (1) The understanding of business education as a subject-matter education is to be improved. The business education is closely related to business administration, economics, accounting, international trade, electronics. But it is not the business education that business administration, economics, accounting, international trade, electronics are only mixed. The business education only utilizes the research outcomes of business administration, economics, accounting, international trade, electronics to achieve the objective of business education. The business education is an activity of organizing experience that is performed to hope the desirable change of behavior. (2) The effective use of the computer in business education is to be strengthened. In the business education, computer is a means to establish the goal of business education. So, it is to be emphasized the education about the practical use of computer rather than the education for computer. (3) The curriculum that suit the environment of business education is to be organized. The business education is to be changed from the knowledge based curriculum to the competency based curriculum. The curriculum of business education is to be organized and administered to make dual education possible. The local specialization of business education curriculum is to be realized. (4) The instruction that suit the environment of business education is to spread. There are project method, collaborative learning, problem solving method, modular instruction in the instruction that suit the environment of business education.
