4차 산업혁명과 경영 교육 혁신방안: 한국과 미국 경영대학을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 사회계열 학생들의 대부분이 교육을 받는 경영대학에서의 경영 교육 개선을 위한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 경영 교육을 개선하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 우선 4차 산업혁명의 영향과 미래 인재상을 검토하였다. 4차 산업혁명 시대에 필요로 하는 인재는 새롭고 복잡한 문제를 창의적으로 해결할 수 있는 사람이다. 이를 위하여 경영 교육은 과거의 단일 전공 중심의 전문가를 양성하기 위한 강의 중심형 교육방식을 과감하게 탈피하고, 수요자 참여 중심형 교육방식을 만들어야 한다. 이러한 경영 교육 개선을 위해서는 첫째, 교수의 적극적 참여가 필수적이다. 교수의 적극적 참여를 유도하는 것이 성패의 첫걸음이고, 그 첫걸음을 성공적으로 시작하기 위해서는 필수적으로 교수의 평가 시스템을 교육 성과를 중심으로 강력하게 구축해야만 한다. 둘째, 경영대학별 주안점을 두고 육성하고자 하는 인재상을 정립하고 공유해야 할 것이다. 셋째, 기존과는 전혀 다른 경영 교육프로그램을 만들어서 학생들이 실질적으로 사회의 문제를 발견하고, 문제를 해결하기 위하여 융합적인 학문적 지식을 사용할 수 있는 능력을 배양할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 활용될 것으로 기대된다. 첫째, 한국 경영대학의 교육 시스템의 점검 및 개선을 위한 초석으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 둘째, 한국 경영대학의 교육 시스템의 개선을 위한 구체적인 사례를 통한 방법론을 제시함으로써 보다 효과적이고 효율적인 경영 교육 개선을 위한 로드맵으로 활용될 것이다. 셋째, 경영대학이 어떠한 내용을 교육하고 어떻게 교육해야 할지에 대한 지침서로써 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 넷째, 교육개혁을 책임지고 있는 정책담당자들의 정책 마련 자료로 활용됨으로써 더욱 현실성 있고, 시의적절한 교육개혁 방안을 마련할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to suggest a direction for improving business education in business schools where most of the social studies students receive education. In order to improve business education, this study first examined the impact of the 4th industrial revolution and future talent. The human resources needed in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution are those who can creatively solve new and complex problems. To this end, business education should boldly break away from the lecture-oriented education method to cultivate experts focusing on a single major in the past and create a consumer-oriented education method. In order to improve the business education, first, active participation of professors is essential. Inducing the active participation of professors is the first step to success or failure, and in order to successfully start the first step, it is essential to construct a professor's evaluation system strongly based on educational results. Second, it is necessary to establish and share talented people who want to nurture with the emphasis on business schools. Third, it is necessary to create a business education program that is completely different from the existing ones so that students can practically discover social problems and cultivate their ability to use convergent academic knowledge to solve problems. The results of this study are expected to be utilized as follows. First, it can be used as a cornerstone for checking and improving the education system of Korean business schools. Second, it will be used as a road map for more effective and efficient business education improvement by presenting a methodology through concrete examples for improving the education system of Korean business schools. Third, it can be used as a guideline for what kind of business education and how to educate. Fourth, a more realistic and timely education reform plan can be prepared by using it as a resource for policy preparation by policy makers responsible for educational reform.
