Objective: This study aimed to report a case of improvement in diabetic peripheral neuropathy in a patient with type 1 diabetes using acupuncture, moxibustion, Jungsongouhyul Pharmacopuncture, and herbal medicines. Methods: Patients underwent acupuncture and Jungsongouhyul Pharmacopuncture at GB39, GB37, LR5, and SP8. The patient underwent moxibustion at CV4 and Bogijetong-tang. The degree of improvement was assessed using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and Neuropathy Disability Score (NDS), and changes in renal function were confirmed through blood tests. Results: The patients' NRS and NDS scores improved from 9 to 3 and 7 to 3.5, respectively. Blood tests revealed improved renal function before treatment. Conclusion: This study suggests that acupuncture, Jungsongouhyul Pharmacopuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine are effective in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy in patients with type 1 diabetes.
