Abstract

RUAN Da‐cheng being good at speculation is a politic flunky, but his poesies and dramas had a marked achievement. RUAN Da‐cheng’s poesies were collected in Poetry Anthology of Yonghuaitang through which we may understand the author’s life, thinkings and social realism then. The landscape poesies and pastorals in Poetry Anthology of Yonghuaitang is the highest achievement. RUAN Da‐cheng’s dramas were collected in Four Workers of Chuanqi Shichao written in Huaining, Zutang Temple in Niushou Mountain in Nanjing and Gushu by Nanjing from Chongzhen 6th(1633) to Chongzhen 15th(1642) in Ming Dynasty. Those dramas had violent material gains and accelerated destruction of Hongguang’ Dynasty of South Ming Dynasty.
