Abstract

The rapid growth of online digital content distribution has heightened the importance of digital watermarking technology to prevent unauthorized copying and tampering of content. However, conventional image watermarking techniques involve embedding a single watermark into a fixed region. This approach has limitations: if the watermark insertion region is damaged, the accuracy of watermark recovery is significantly reduced. Furthermore, video watermarking techniques primarily modify the compressed bitstream directly, leading to implementation variations depending on standards and the potential for cumulative distortion due to frame transformations. Therefore, this paper proposes a P-frame-based watermark segmentation video watermarking technique that maintains robustness by distinguishing frames and inserting watermarks in segments. Experimental results show that under compression attack conditions, the proposed technique achieves an average 68% reduction in BER(Bit Error Rate) compared to conventional models. Even when accompanied by frame deletion attacks, it maintains an average 14% reduction. Furthermore, when both frame drop attacks and compression attacks occur simultaneously, the proposed model achieves an average BER 65% lower than conventional models.
