Abstract
The purposes of this study were to overview the current issues in the field of adapted sports and analyze the patterns of the non-governmental adminstration organizations based on the views of disability paradigm and sports, the relationships with human rights, the removal of discrimination within people with and without disabilities, participation into the society by people with disabilities, and the methods of the inclusion. The great milestone in the adapted sports in Korea could be the '88 Seoul Paralympics. The government organization of adapted sports has been transferred to the Ministry of Culture & Tourism in the year of 2004. The National Sports Promotion Act has been amended and forced to establish the non-governmental organization of adapted sports in this year of 2005. The fully independency from the public organization group could be worse than the dependency to such as Korea Sports Council for the non-governmental organization of adapted sports, therefore, the cooperative organization with current the most strong organization named Korea Sports Council could be more ideal to make sure and strong in the concepts of the inclusion. The promotion of people's adapted sports participation, sport leader's training and their places, building the facilities and using it, the development of the inclusion programs and its applications, etc., all might be the methods to promote the sports activities for the people with disabilities and to make a strong establishment of the organization of the administration for adapted sports in Korea.
