Abstract

This study was to analyze the relationships between sports and life satisfaction of the individuals with physical disabilities according to the type of physical disabilities. The results are as follows:1. Sport socialization managers affected life satisfaction of physically handicapped people. In addition to sport socialization managers, companies of mass media had the second-important influence, and then schools. Families, communities, and medical facilities were not related to life satisfaction of physically handicapped people.2.Frequency of participation in sports and leisure activities were related to life satisfaction of physically handicapped people.3.Duration of participation in sports and leisure activities were related to life satisfaction of physically handicapped people.4. Solidity of participation in sports and leisure activities were related to life satisfaction of physically handicapped people. As duration of participation was longer and solidity of participation was stronger, they felt much stronger life satisfaction.
