정신지체아의 장애정도별 형태학적 특성

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze differences of the somatotype among three group categorized by mentally retarded children. The subjects were classified into three groups: Educable, Trainable and Down Syndrome. The subjects consisted of 83 male mentally retarded children selected from three special school. The 26 anthropolatric variable were selected from proposed by Ross & Marfell-Jones(1982) and Parizkova(1978). The anthropometric somatotype was assessed by somatotype categories of Heath & Carter(1967). The result is followed. The height of mentally retarded children among three group was significantly statistical difference. Also, The somatotype among three group categorized by mentally retarded children were difference. Somatotype of between Educable and Trainable group were similar, but of between these and Down Syndrome group were unlike. The somatochart shown that Down Syndrome was more mesomorph-endomorph.
