본지 2009년 11월호1)에 소개했던 위험도에 기반한 우식 조절의 임상적인 적용을 위한 제안을 하고자 한다. 치아우식증이 거의 모든 소아환자에게 발생된다면, 그리고 모든 환자가 다 고위험군이라면 구태여 위험도를 구분해 적용할 필요가 없겠으나, 적지 않은 아동에서 우식이 없거나 최소한 가시적인 와동이 발생되지 않고 있는 것이 현실이라면 이제는 좀 더 개별화된 위험도에 기반한 포로토콜이 제시되어야 한다고 생각된다. 본고는 미국 캘리포니아 치과의사회2,3), 미소아치과학회4) 등에서 제안한 CAMBRA를 소아 청소년에게 적용할 수 있도록 필자가 변형한 것이다.
Abstract
Now it is time to move from the scientific basis of CAMBRA into practical methods for dentists to the incorporate concepts into practice. The aim of this article is to provide a clinical guideline for assessment of caries risk and for application for growing children.
