新潮의 문학사적 평가에 대한 考察

Abstract

Through Novel's revolution in Qing Dynasty, Modern Chinese novel became modernized. In this term, Xinchaoshe, a gathering for modern Chinese novel writers, was established. These writers writes the work to reflect realism. However, up to the present, their contribution in a literary history has never been recognized by literary scholars. As a matter of fact, Wenxueyanjiuhui's realism novel(Wenti xiaoshuo) began from Xinchao's novel. Therefore studying Xinchao will examine the formation of realism in Modern Chinese literature.
