초록

Abstract

A parapharyngeal metastasis from primary thyroid carcinoma is rare. We experienced a 75-year-old woman who presented with amass on the lateral wall of nasopharynx and oropharynx. Biopsy from the nasopharynx revealed papillary carcinoma of thyroid andthe patient was treated by palliative radiation. Metastatic thyroid carcinoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of aparapharyngeal mass.
