Abstract
Angiosarcoma is a rare, highly aggressive tumor of vascular endothelium, representing less than 1% of all soft tissue sarcomas.Angiosarcoma can occur anywhere in the body, but in the skin, it is most commonly observed in the head and neck of elderlymen. It has a poor prognosis because it can recur locally and metastasize to regional lymph nodes and distantly, especially to thelung or vertebrae. We present an extremely rare case of a metastatic angiosarcoma in the parotid gland after complete remissionof the primary angiosarcoma in scalp. Previously, radiotherpy and chemotherapy was given to primary scalp tumor. We performedradical parotidectomy followed by radiotherapy of the region. He has no evidence of disease over 6 months.
