Angiolipoma is a rare vascular variant of the benign lipomatous tumors. Especially, angiolipoma of the head and neck is extremely rare. To our knowledge, there are about 19 previously reported cases of angiolipoma of the head and neck in the world literature review. We experienced a case of angiolipoma that developed in the floor of mouth, and the tumor was successfully removed using the transcervical approach without any complications. We report a case of angiolipoma in the floor of mouth with a review of the related literature. (Korean J Otorhinolaryngol-Head Neck Surg 2008;51:399-401)
