디지털 건축의 표면특성이 반영된 패션 액세서리 디자인분석

디지털 테크놀로지의 영향으로 디지털 기술이 가미된 현대 건축 표면은 패션디자이너들에게 새로운 영감의 소재가 되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 의상과 상호 긴밀한 연관성을 지닌 패션 액세서리에 가치를 부여하고, 디지털 건축 표면과의 유사한 관계성을 도출해 내는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 건축의 표면을 유기적 속성의 시간성, 유기체의 생체패턴모사, 기하학과 유기적 구조의 하이브리드로 분류하였고, 이 내용을 바탕으로 패션 액세서리 디자인에 대해 고찰하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 유기적 속성의 시간성을 특징으로 한 건축표면에서는 유기체의 생성, 성장, 소멸과 같은 시간적 개념을 이용하였다. 둘째, 유기체의 형태모방에서는 자연과 유기적 요소의 형태와 논리적인 질서를 모방하였다. 셋째, 기하학과 유기적 구조의 하이브리드화가 나타난 건축표면에서는 초표피성의 특징을 보였다. 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 한 디지털 건축의 기하학적 단위체의 반복에 의한 유기적 형태화와 유기체 구조의 반복과 변화적 생체패턴화 경향을 나타낸 패션 액세서리에서는 유닛의 반복나열, 오리가미, 컷팅, 레이어링, 포밍기법 등이 나타났고 율동성, 볼륨성, 단순성, 모조성이라는 미적특성을 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내 패션 액세서리 디자인을 연구하는데 있어 기초적인 연구 자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 실제적으로 디자인을 고안하는 단계에서 발상기법의 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
Influenced by digital technology, the surface material of contemporary architecture with digital technology could be a new source of inspiration for fashion designers. The object of this study is to add value to Fashion Accessories that has close interconnection with costumes and to draw a similar characteristics of expression with the surface of the digital architecture. In this study, we classified the surface of digital architecture into temporality of organic properties, organic bio-pattern simulations, geometry and hybrid of organic structure and fashion accessory design were classified based on it. The results were as follows: First, The temporality of organic properties used the concept of time about the growth, extinction and evolution of the organism as the principles of architectural form on the surface. Second, on the surface of building which represents organic bio-pattern, they imitate the form and the logical order of nature and organic elements. Third, the surface of the hybrid architecture with the geometry and organic structure shows Hyper-surface feature. When it applies to the Fashion Accessories, we can see the repetition of unit lists, layering, origami, cutting techniques and so on. Also the aesthetic characters of Fashion Accessories design based on surface characteristics of digital architecture came up with rhythm, volume, simplexity and imitation. With this result, we are able to use this study as a basic research data for studying fashion accessory design and this study is expected to be used as materials for idea techniques in the design stage.
