금속합금과 합성수지 표면의 금속질감 처리 효과에 관한 연구 -산업화된 기법을 중심으로-

오늘날의 시각 예술은 각 분야가 서로 영향을 미치며 융합하고 변이하는 과정을 통해 다양한 주제를 기반으로 다양한 표현을 요구하고 있다. 특히 금속 디자인의 경향은 여러 가지 기법을 통한 표현이 가능한 이유로 디자인과 예술을 넘나들며 다양하게 발전하고 있다. 하지만 금속 디자인은 주재료가 되는 몇 개의 한정된 금속 재료 및 합금을 사용하기 때문에 그 표현에 있어서도 한정적일 수밖에 없다. 그리고 그 한계는 마무리 공정에 해당하는 표면처리에서 더 명확해 지는데, 본 연구에서는 금속표면처리의 이유와 그에 수반되는 장점과 단점에 대하여 고찰해 보고, 산업에서 적극적으로 사용되는 표면처리 기법들을 연구하고 금속디자인에 접목될 수 있도록 제안하였다. 다양한 금속표면기법 중 금속 조형물 및 장신구 제작에 사용빈도가 높은 도금, 양극산화법, 착색, 부식, 칠보를 선택하여 그 공정을 연구하였으며, 플라스틱과 같은 대량생산이 가능한 산업화 재료의 금속 표면 접목 연구에 많은 비중을 두었다. 그리고 피부에 부작용을 발생시키는 금속의 종류를 분류하고 그에 대한 대처법으로서의 금속 표면처리에 대하여 제시하였다. 오늘날의 소비자들은 자신만의 개성을 표현하기 위한 욕구가 강하며, 이런 금속디자인의 완성도를 표면처리를 통해 높이고 다양화하여 소비자의 감성을 다양화, 고급화로 충족될 수 있도록 유도하고자 한다. 금속디자인의 표면처리는 과거 장인정신에서 비롯된 경험적 측면이 강하여 명확한 분류와 분석에 어려움이 있으나, 본 연구는 이러한 표면처리 효과에 대하여 객관적 지식과 정보가 명확하게 규정되어야 한다는 것을 인식하며 이를 향후 학문적으로 연구할 과제로 제기하고자 하는데 목적이 있다.
Abstract
Today 's visual arts are demanding various expressions based on various themes through the process of mutual influences, convergence and variation of each field. Especially, the tendency of metal design is developing variously, crossing design and art because it is possible to express through various techniques. However, since metal design uses several limited metal materials and alloys which are main materials, it is limited in its expression. In this study, we study the reasons for metal surface treatment, its advantages and disadvantages, and study the surface treatment techniques actively used in the industry. It is proposed to be applied to metal design. Among the various metal surface techniques, we have selected the most frequently used plating, anodizing, patina, corrosion, and cloisoning methods for the production of metal moldings and ornaments. Of the total. We classify the types of metals that cause side effects on the skin and present metal surface treatments as countermeasures against them. Today's consumers want to express their own individuality and increase the maturity of these metal designs through surface processing and diversify the maturity of the consumer's mind to achieve a diversification of consumer sentiment. The surface design of the metal design is strong and difficult to analyze and analyze because of the strong aspects of the past. Therefore This study recognizes that objective knowledge and information must be clearly regulated on surface effects, and the purpose of the study is to study this as a subject for research in the future.
