기존 데이터 방송 시스템은 수신 단말이 완전한 애플리케이션 데이터를획득하지 못한 경우 반복적으로 방송 애플리케이션 데이터 전체를 다운로드하는 매커니즘을 가지고 있다. 이 방식은 다운로드 시간이 길어지는 요인이 된다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 본 논문은 리턴 채널을 활용하여 누락된 방송 애플리케이션 데이터를 효과적으로 다운로드하는 기법을 제안하고 실험을 통하여 제안된 기법의 비교 성능 평가를 보인다.
Abstract
The existing data broadcasting system has the mechanism that the receiving device should download repetitively the entirebroadcasting application datauntil it acquires the whole of the application data. This mechanism takes long time for the download. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a scheme that the device effectively downloads the missing parts of broadcasting application data through the return channel and shows the performance evaluations of the proposed scheme with respect to the experiment.
