Abstract

As a typical women Bildungsroman, The Song of the Young by YANG Mo & The Battle Fought by Oneself By LIN Bai manifests an astonishing shift between women writing in 1950s & 1990s. It shows the historical changes of female consciousness from implicit to explicit in contemporary Chinese women writing. Through a comparative study of LIN Dao-jing. In The Song of the Young & LIN Duo-mi in The Battle Fought by Oneself, the author wants to illustrate Chinese modern women intellectuals spirit movement, as well as points out the dilemma and solution of contemporary Chinese women writing.
