본 연구의 목적은 유성 김준곤의 민족복음화와 통일을 향한 사상과 운동이 하나님 사랑과 이웃 사랑의 시도이며 민족복음화운동의 태동기, 발전기, 부흥 기를 거쳐 완성기의 통일을 향하여 점진적으로 나타나고 있다는 것을 밝히는 것이다. 유성은 민족의 죄악상과 아픔을 실존적으로 겪으면서 민족을 치유하고 구원하는 해결책은 예수 그리스도의 복음이라고 생각하고 민족복음화에 절대적 으로 헌신했다. 그에게 민족의 과제는 민족복음화와 통일이었고 민족의 사명은 세계복음화를 통한 지상명령 성취이며 하나님 나라를 세우는 것이었다. 또한 이 논문에서는 한국교회가 유성 김준곤의 민족복음화 사상과 통일운동을 계승하고 발전시켜 갈 수 있는 세 가지 방안을 제시했다. 첫째, 한국교회는 민 족복음화와 통일운동을 위해 기도운동을 일으켜야 한다. 둘째, 한국교회는 하 나님 사랑과 이웃 사랑을 실천할 수 있는 통일봉사단을 육성해야 한다. 셋째, 한국교회는 통일헌금과 통일통장을 통해 재정을 준비하여 복음통일을 준비해야 한다는 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reveal that Yuseong Kim Joongon’s ideology and movement toward national evangelization and unification are attempts to love God and love neighbors, and that they gradually appear through the birth, development, and revival periods of the national evangelization movement toward unification in the completion period. Yuseong experienced the sins and pain of the nation existentially and believed that the solution to heal and save the nation was the gospel of Jesus Christ, and he was absolutely devoted to national evangelization. To him, the task of the nation was national evangelization and unification, and the mission of the nation was to fulfill the Great Commission through world evangelization and to establish the kingdom of God. In addition, this paper presents three ways for the Korean church to inherit and develop Yuseong Kim Joongon’s national evangelization ideology and unification movement. First, the Korean church should raise a prayer movement for national evangelization and unification movement. Second, the Korean church should foster a unification volunteer group that can practice love of God and love of neighbor. Third, the Korean church must prepare finances through unification offerings and unification accounts to prepare for gospel unification.
