자원봉사 인정 및 보상과 지역의 사회자본과의 관계에 대한 연구

초록

이 연구는 자원봉사 인정과 보상이 지역의 규범, 신뢰, 사회적 연계망에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 자원봉사 인정·보상이 성별, 연령, 교육, 텔레비전시청시간, 신문구독시간, 자원봉사 참여시간의 변수로 통제해도 규범, 신뢰, 사회적 연계망에 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 조사대상자는 자원봉사 인정과 보상이 진행되고 있는 기관의 자원봉사자 186명이었고, 다중회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 조사 결과, 자원봉사 인정보상은 지역사회 규범에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자원봉사활동에 있어서 인정과 보상을 받을수록 규범의식이 높아지는 것을 알 수 있다. 그리고 연령이 규범과 신뢰에 영향을 미치며, 자원봉사 참여 기간은 사회적 연계망에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회복지 관련 조직이 인정과 보상의 행정적 관리를 잘 할수록 규범의식은 높아질 수 있음을 시사한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effects of recognition and reward for volunteer on the norm, trust, and network of community. This study attempts to explain whether or not the recognition and reward for Volunteer as a independent variables affects norm, trust, and network, with control variables sex, generation gap, education, TV viewing, newspaper reading, and volunteering. The data from 186 volunteers belonging to the social welfare agencies using recognition and reward management for volunteers were collected. This research utilizes descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The calculation employed the use of PASW Statistics 18. The results show that the recognition and reward for volunteer affects the norm. It is found that generation gap affects the norm, trust, social capital, and that volunteering does network. Findings of this study suggests that social welfare agency should manage volunteers through the administrative tools like recognition and reward in order to make community people to decrease the selfishness and free riding, to help each other, to participate for solving community problems.
