이 연구는 이상화 시의 시어 목록을 작성하고 이를 바탕으로 시어의 특성을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 진행하였다. 이 연구는 개별 연구자가 감당할 만한 규모의 시어 목록을 작성하면서 그 과정과 결과를 공유하여 시어 연구의 협업를 모색하는 차원에서 기획되었다. 이상화는 60여 편의 시를 남기고 있으며 전집 작업도 다양한 차원에서 여러 번 진행되어 시어 정규화 과정에 크게 무리가 없을 것으로 판단하였다. 본문의 Ⅱ장에서는 이상규, 유성호, 김학동의 전집을 바탕으로 텍스트를 확정하고 입력하는 과정을 소상하게 밝혔다. 우선 전집들을 대조하여 이상화의 창작시 62편의 텍스트를 확정하였다. 자료를 검증받는 데는 전산자료를 공유하는 것이 가장 좋은 방법이지만 제약이 있을 때는 이와 같이 모든 과정을 밝히는 것도 하나의 방법이 될 수 있을 것이다. Ⅲ에서는 이상화의 시를 통계 처리한 결과를 확인하였다. 이상화의 62편의 시에는 총 2,026개의 시어가 6,054회 출현한다. 통계적 특성으로는 한자어가 많은 비중을 차지할 뿐 아니라 이상화 시어 중 의미 있는 국면을 이루고 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. Ⅳ에서는 고빈도 어휘의 양상과 의미를 살펴보았다. 일반명사 중 ‘신령’은 16회 반복되는데, 이는 『한국 현대시어 빈도사전』 전체 시어 612,065번의 출현 빈도 중 4번에 불과한 시어이다. 또한 ‘신령’은 10편에 이르는 작품에 다양하게 출현하므로 앞으로 이상화 시를 규명하는 데 주요한 키워드로 작용할 가능성도 있다. 그리고 정지용 시의 고빈도 시어와 비교했을 때, 명사와 동사가 각기 다른 양상을 보여 앞으로 시어 연구의 중요한 실마리가 될 수도 있을 것이다. Ⅲ, Ⅳ에서는 『한국 현대시어 빈도사전』과 이미 제출되어 있는 정지용 시어의 자료를 적극 활용하였다. 더 많은 시인들의 자료가 확보되어 시어 목록에 대한 비교와 대조가 활발해진다면 시어와 시세계에 대한 더 정확하고 풍성한 이해를 이끌어낼 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to create a list of poetic words in Lee Sang-hwa’s poems and to reveal the characteristics of poetic words based on this. This study was designed to seek collaboration in poetic research by creating a list of poetic words that can be handled by individual researchers, sharing the process and results. Lee Sang-hwa left about 60 poems, and the complete works were also carried out several times in various dimensions, so it was judged that the poetic words normalization process would be smooth. In Chapter Ⅱ of the main text, the process of confirming and inputting texts based on the complete works of Sang-gyu Lee, Seong-ho Yoo, and Hak-dong Kim was revealed. First, the texts of 62 Lee Sang-hwa’s creative poems were confirmed by contrasting the entire works. Sharing computerized data is the best way to verify the data, but when there are restrictions, revealing all the processes like this could be one method. In Ⅲ, Lee Sang-hwa’s poetry was statistically processed. In Lee Sang-hwa’s 62 poems, a total of 2,026 poetic words appear 6,054 times. Among the statistical characteristics, it was confirmed that Chinese characters not only occupied a large proportion, but also constituted a meaningful phase among idealized poems. In Ⅳ, the patterns and meanings of high frequency vocabulary were examined. Among common nouns, ‘spirit’ is repeated 16 times, which is only four times out of The frequency dictionary for the words of Korea’s modern poetry’s 612,065 times. In addition, since “spirit” appears in various ways in 10 works, it may serve as a key keyword for clarifying the characteristics of Lee Sang-hwa’s poems in the future. In addition, compared to the igh-frequency poems of Ji-yong, nouns and verbs show different patterns, which could be an important clue for future poetic research. In Ⅲ and Ⅳ, we actively utilized The frequency dictionary for the words of Korea’s modern poetry’s and the data of Ji-Yong Jeong already submitted. If more poets’ data is secured and the comparison and contrast of the list of poetic words become active, a more accurate and richer understanding of poetic words and poetic worlds can be drawn.
