This study aims to introduce various grammar research methods based on data science and to propose the quantitative analysis of language data. In chapter 2, I examine distinguished features of data analysis-based grammar research methods that contrast with traditional grammar research methods. In chapters 3 and 4, I introduce studies that demonstrate the hypotheses of linguistic theory by the experiments and analysis of corpus data. In chapter 5, I present research methods that reinterpreted linguistic categories into quantitative categories such as frequency or entropy for drawing insights and determining cause-and-effect patterns. In chapter 6, I propose to apply text mining and network analysis for identifying research trends or social media trends.
