일본의 한류 열풍 주도 드라마에 관한 연구 -<겨울연가>를 중심으로-

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the cause of a strong wind, Hallyu in Japan represented by the drama “Winter Sonata” through a socio-cultural background. As a result, the reasons that the middle-aged and aged women in Japan were extremely excited by “Winter Sonata” are the duplicated sex culture and individualism currently existing in Japan, and the Japanese socio-cultural background in which they refrain from emotional expressions. Also, it is assumed that in the course of industrialization, accompanied by pure and warm hearts, a warm skin-ship that appeared in “Winter Sonata” was appealed enough to be the object of the adoration of middle-aged and aged women in Japan who had been treated distantly by their people in a family and socio-cultural sense. There are scenes of sorrowful tears appearing in “Winter Sonata” including such characters as hero and a heroine. Drama viewers also managed to cry after characters in the drama through immersion of themselves to successfully unravel their distress held in contempt. This type of drama immersion came to shake the middle-aged and aged women in Japan out of the virtue of emotional passion control, and to run into a new world. “Winter Sonata” they met was no longer a drama but It was a new world to them that has brought them to a new system of thought and senses.
