본 연구의 목적은 노인가구주가구의 가구 및 주거실태분석과 지역 간 격차를 분석하는데 있다. 분석을 위하여 노인가구주가구를 3개의 지역, 즉 수도권, 대도시 및 기타지역으로 구분하였으며 2014년 주거실태조사를 사용하였다. 분석방법은 교차분석을 통해 가구 및 주거실태를 분석하였고 지역 간 격차는 ANOVA와 카이스퀘어 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 노인가구는 가구원수가 적고 학력이 낮고 무직자가 많아 소득이 낮은 특성이 있으며 노후한 단독주택에 장기간 거주한 것으로 나타났다. 지역적으로 노인가구의 가구 및 주택실태는 차이가 있다. 특히 기타지역에 거주하는 노인가구는 단독가구가 많으며 학력도 낮고 소득도 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 주거실태도 지역별로 차이를 보이고 있는데 특히 기타지역 거주가구는 노후하고 시설수준이 열악한 단독주택에 거주하고 있다. 끝으로 ANOVA분석과 카이스퀘어 검증을 실시한 결과 1%수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 보이고 있어 지역 간에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 지역 간 주거의 격차를 최소화하기 위한 정책이 마련되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare the housing service disparities among the regions for elderly households. For the study, the elderly housing was categorized in three regional groups: capital region, large cities and other areas including small cities and rural areas. The Annual Housing Survey 2014 was used as the primary source for the study. In order to find the differences among the elderly households and housing conditions by the regions, ANOVA and χ² test were used to analyze the data. Result of analysis revealed that statistically significant regional disparities existed at 1% level among the elderly households and housing conditions. The findings of the study show that the elderly housing is characterized as small household size, low educational level, and low income. Elderly households living in large cities had high rental income ratio while elderly households living in other areas including small cities and rural areas were living in old single-family housing with poor facilities. On the basis of the findings of the study, it was suggested that housing policies to minimize the disparities in elderly housing among the regions need to be developed.
