In this paper, we solve the additive π-functional equations f(x+y+z)-f(x)-f(y)-f(z)= π(2f((x+y+z)/2)- f(x) - f(y)- f(z)), where π is a fixed number with π β 1, 2, and f(x+y+z)-f(x)-f(y)-f(z)=π(2f((x+y)/2)+z)- f(x) - f(y)- 2f(z)), where π is a fixed number with πβ 1. Using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the additive π-functional equations (0.1) and (0.2) in Banach spaces.
