Abstract
Domestic violence is common in countries, and causes lasting spiritual·psychological·emotional·physical damages to the victim's health. But Korean churches have tolerated or ignored domestic violence, although church is not a safety-zone for domestic violence. In addressing domestic violence, pastoral efforts may have an important role both in prevention and intervention, by on-going research on the biblical perspectives of domestic violence, Christian training for finding and counseling of domestic violence within church, ministerial focus on domestic violence issues, awareness raising publically via preaching and church social work information development·dissemination·community networking about domestic awareness.
