이 글은 예배의 정치적 차원을 거론하고 정치적 대립 또는 갈등, 사회적 집단 간의 불화를 해소하는 것이 예배의 정치성이며 이러한 정치적 예배를 통해서 기독교의 예배가 세상 정치에 대해 공헌할 수 있다고 주장한다. 이러한 예배가 세상에 대해 가지는 영향력은 예배하는 기독 시민들이 예전을 통해 정치적 실천을 지향할 수 있는 변화를 성령 안에서 어느 정도로 경험하는가에 따라 다르다. 따라서 기독시민이 정치적 역할을 감당하기 위해서는 정치적 영역에서 하나님의 영의 지시와 인도에 따라 그 책임을 감당할 줄 아는 성령 충만한 주체로 기르는 것이 필수적이다. 이러한 정치적 영성 형성의 목표는 하나님의 선 내지는 사회의 공동선에 합당한 가치를 실현하는 데 있고 바로 이것이 본질적으로 기독 시민의 시민권을 구성한다. 그러므로 교회 내부에서 제공되는 각종 영성 훈련과 성경 교육 그리고 제자 교육은 이러한 시민권의 형성과 행사를 겨냥할 필요가 있다. 현재의 교회 교육은 인간 영혼에게 이러한 의미의 시민권을 찾아주는 교육을 거의 하지 않는다. 이러한 관점에서 예배를 기독 시민권을 계도하고 실천하는 소위 기독 시민 양성 과정으로 활용하는 시각 전환이 필요하다. 교회의 정치적 예배를 통해서 이러한 시민권을 형성하는 교육적 과제가 현재의 한국 교회 예배가 심각하게 숙려해야 할 논의 과제이다.
Abstract
In this article, I understands worship in the political dimension and argues what it is to worship or serve politically. It is claimed that if we get to become holy and sacred through worship, to worship politically enable us to become influential to secular politics. For this, it has to happen that christian people as citizen is to have great awaking momentum or motivation of political self-consciousness according to Holy Spirit in doing a service. Therefore, the problem is how the worship succeed in that task. It depends upon whether and how we as the subject of God’s Spirit, which means spirit-filled ministering agent being responsible subjectively for God’s will is to deal with political discipline. This is essential for political role with christian citizen. The formation of political spirituality aims at God’s good and/or common good, and appears as the prosecution of christian citizenship. Concludingly, all kinds of education and training program in church need to contribute to cultivate and advance christian citizenship as political subjectivity. Presently, most of church education and worship have almost no interest in this critical consideration. This allows christian discipleship to be inert and inactive in hunger for God’s righteousness. In this perspective, it is recognized that worship is ranked as a christian citizenship training program. With this paradigm shift, the political worship of church as educational project, can solve the problem of bringing up the christian citizen as God’s army, and also will have to be what worship in Korean church pays serious attention to.
