들뢰즈의 신체 개념과 브라이도티의 여성 주체

본 논문의 목적은 신체를 변이할 수 있는 힘으로 제시하는 들뢰즈(deleuze)의 논의를 살펴보면서, 브라이도티의 여성 주체 개념을 통해 여성주의적의미를 주요하게 탐구하는 것에 있다. 들뢰즈는 신체를 신체들의 결합관계라는 변용(affection)과 그에 따라 한 개체적신체에서 일어나는 힘의 변이를 지시하는 변용능력( pouvoir d'etre affecte )이라는 두축으로 설명한다. 신체는 다른 신체와 결합하여 얼마나 신체가 변화할 수 있는가라는 힘의 문제로 정의되는 것이다. 이러한 들뢰즈의 신체 개념은 정상성의 담지자로상정된 규범적이며 보편적인 인간 개념을 남성으로 설정하는 바를 비판하고 남성적 재현 모델에서 벗어나 여성을 설명한다는 점에서 여성주의와 그 문제의식을 공유한다. 브라이도티(braidotti)는 들뢰즈 신체 개념이 남성의 재현 체계에서 벗어나는 체현적 실재로서 여성 주체를 생산하는데 필요한 방식이라는 점에서 그 의의를 찾는다. 브라이도티는 들뢰즈의 신체 개념을 들여와, 여성 주체를 다양한 차이들을 결합하여 변용능력을 증가시키는 신체를 생산하는 과정 그 자체인 체현적 실재로 제시한다. 체현적 실재로서 여성 주체는 본질적인 정체성으로 환원되지 않으며 역사와 상황 그리고 다른 존재들과 복잡한 상호작용 속에서 만들어지며, 통일적으로 조직되지 않는 ‘단일적이지 않은 주체(non-unitary subject) ’이자, 차이들의 횡단적인연결을 강조한다는 점에서 유목적 주체(nomadic subject)이다. 본 논문에서, 우리는 들뢰즈의 신체 개념이 각기 특수한 신체 경험에서 비롯된체현성(embodiment)을 통해 여성의 주체성을 설명하는 여성주의의 논의의 선상과 맞닿아 있으며, 체현적 실재로서 여성 주체를 생산하는데 필요한 방식이 될 수있음을 확인할 수 있다.
Abstract
This paper aims to explore Deleuze's argument presenting body as force to change and that feminist implications through Rosi Braidotti’feminist subject. Deleuze explains body in two axes. the first axe is affection(affection) that is the combination of bodies and the second axe is the ca pacity for being affected(pouvoir d’etre affecte) that refers the variation of force in an individual body. The body is the ability to be affected and affect. In other words, the body is the extent which is the ability to act and the aggregate of powers vested in relation to the body of forces combined with other body and taking power. At this point, Deleuze's work shares with feminist issues. Rosi Braidotti finds meaning that Deleuze's body provides feminism with the method producing feminist subject as the embodiment entity unrelated to the patriarchal system. The feminist subject is the nomadic subject that does not converge to the center of one but mutates continuously. that subject is the non-unitary subject that acknowledges differences between women and combines with different social problems to strengthen and expand capabilities of the solidarity.
