이 논문은 식민지 시기 동아일보 지면을 통해 진행된 문예 작품에 대한 현상 공모제도의 운영과정을 검토하는 것을 일차적인 목표로 한다. 창간 초기부터 다양한 공모제도를 운영한 동아일보는 문예작품에 대해서는 별도의 지면을 할애하여 상시적인 공모를 계속한다. 1925년 신춘문예제도를 도입하지만 정상적인 운영을 위해서는 약 10년여의 시간이 소요된다. 노출된 여러 문제에도 불구하고 동아일보 지면을 통한 공모제도의 운영은 한국 근대문학의 저변확대에 직간접적인 기여를 한 것으로 평가할 수 있다.
Abstract
A Study about Donga-ilbo (東亞日報)s Writer Reproduction Systemin Colonial Period; Kim, Seok-BongThis study aims to survey the several forms of literary contest held by Donga-ilbo during colonial period and the management proces of that contest. Donga-ilbo which managed 180various public subscription systems from the foundation kept on literary public subscription through spare special spaces. The newspaper introduced a literary contest in spring in 1925 but it took 10 years for regular and normal management for that contest. Though there were many mistakes and problems Donga-ilbo’s literary contest contributed to expand Korean modern literature’ base directly and indirectly at the same time.
