본 논문은 416기억저장소 기록수집활동의 전개과정을 살펴보고 특징과 한계 그리고 대안을 제시하였다. 416기억정장소는 416가족협의회 산하 조직으로 416기록을 중점적으로 다룬다. 사명에 따라 참사 희생자, 피해자 가족, 시민들의 기록을 수집·정리·보존·활용한다. 이는 참사 자체는 물론 희생자들을 온전히 기억하기 위한 것으로, 점점 잊혀가는 4·16 참사를 사람들에게 끊임없이 복기시키고 이와 같은 끔찍한 사건이 다시는 일어나지 않도록 하기 위한 것이다. 이와 같은 목적을 바탕으로 진행되는 416기억저장소 기록수집 활동의 특징은 다섯 가지로 보았고, 이러한 특징들은 지속적이고 효율적인 기록 수집을 할 수 있게 해주며 아직 끝나지 않은 사건 속에서 기록이 계속 생산될 수 있도록 도와주었다. 이는 국내 기록학 영역의 확장은 물론 416기억저장소와 유사한 성격의 조직 구성시 하나의 좋은 사례가 되길 기대한다.
Abstract
This thesis divided into before and after the establishment of 416Menorial Archives to examine the development process of the acquisition activities of 461Memorial Archives and suggested the feature, limit, and alternative. 416Memorial Archives is the affiliated organization of 416 family council, which focuses on 416 archives. The records of the disaster victims, victim families, and citizen are acquisition, arranged, preserved, and utilized according to the incident names. It is for remembering the victims bodily as well as the disaster, it is intended to constantly let people reall the 4·16 disaster that is being forgotten gradually and to prevent this kind of terrible incident from recurring. The features of 416Memorial Archives acquisition activities conducted based on this purpose were considered to be 5 things. These features make the acquisition possible consistently and efficiently and help the record be produced continuously in the incident that did not end yet. As for the acquisition activity of 416Memorial Archives, if the archival science area is expanded and an organization similar to 416Memorial Archives is made, it will be a good case during the acquisition activity.
