Abstract

Hwanin(桓因) is the first person to preach the ideology of humanitarian people’s value. Hwanung(桓雄) continued to accept the will of heaven and came down between the White mountain and the Black water. The gathering place was set up in the Cheonpyeong(天坪) area and the place was designated as Cheonggu(靑邱). In modern times, the heavy-light movement led by Hongam(弘巖) was an example of the integration of Humanitarian people into the long-lived citizenship and the public value of humanitarian people’s value. The Globalization leads to a serious disaster by causing inequality in income distribution among classes and threatening the survival of workers. Thecultivation value of the long-lived citizenship is a deep citizenship that corresponds to the longevity era, and is nurtured internally to practice ‘being in awe of life,’ ‘be honest,’ ‘be righteous and fair,’ and ‘be respectful and loving each other’ in everyday life. The spirit of Samil(三一) in Hongam moves to cultivation, the long-lived citizenship, and reflects the broad happy sense of peace. If the Globalization causes inequality and generation gap by the logic of power, the Samil spirit is based on mutual subjectivity, enabling the outlook for world peace. Based on ‘globalism’, Hongam indicates the prospect of the long-lived citizenship. The building of virtues through humans character implements the public value of respect for personality by cultivating long-lived citizenship bymediating the heavy light value of Humanitarian people. This article will cover the origin and development of the humanitarian people, ‘the greatest service for the benefit of humanity’, and its ideal image for the future. It advocated the realization of the value of the long-lived citizenship. Beyond the philanthropy, the understanding of the fundamental vitality of human beings lights up again the value of fostering long-lived citizenship.
