국제유가 변동이 대구·경북 지역산업에 미치는 영향

이 연구는 국제유가 변동이 대구와 경북 지역산업에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하는 것이다. 분석을 위해 2013년 지역산업연관표를 활용하였으며 원유 및 천연가스 수입가격 변동이 대구와 경북지역 각 업종에 직․간접적으로 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 분석결과에 따르면, 가격변동에 크게 영향을 받는 업종은 도시가스, 석유제품, 증기 및 온수, 전력 및 신재생에너지 등의 원유나 천연가스를 중간재로 사용하는 에너지관련 업종이었다. 원유가격 변화에 민감하게 영향을 받는 업종은 대구는 16개, 경북은 20개 업종으로 분류할 수 있었다. 또한, 지역 제조업 중 가장 큰 영향을 받는 것은 석유제품, 기초유기화학물질, 기타 비금속광물제품, 합성수지 및 합성고무 등으로 나타났다. 물가변동은 생산자물가, 수출물가, 소비자물가 순으로 크게 변동했으며 대구보다 제조업 비중이 높고 석유 사용량이 많은 경북지역 물가에 크게 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 수입 원유가격 변동 시 대구·경북지역의 업종별 물가변동은 유가관련 서비스업과 일부 주력 제조업에서 생산자 물가가 크게 변하고 연관 서비스업 소비자 물가가 크게 오르는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 원유가격 변동이 제조업 생산자가격 변동에 미치는 영향이 크지 않았고 소비자물가와 생산자물가에 미치는 영향도 서비스업에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of fluctuation of imported crude oil price on industries in Daegu Gyeongbuk province. For this we use regional industry linkage table in 2013, and we analyse the direct and indirect effect of crude oil and natural gas prices’ fluctuation on various industries in study area. From the results, industries that are strongly affected by a price fluctuation are urban gas, oil products, steam and hot water, electricity and renewable energy. These industries are energy related industries that use crude oil and gas as intermediary goods. The number of industries that are sensitive to crude oil prices are 16 industries in Daegu and 20 industries in Gyeongbuk. The most affected manufacturing industries are oil products, basic organic chemistry materials, non-metallic mineral, synthetic resins and synthetic rubber. The magnitude of price fluctuation are producer price, export price, and customer price in order. Moreover, Gyeongbuk area’s price as been affected strongly than Daegu, because Gyeongbuk use more crude oil and has more manufacturing industries. When imported crude oil prices are change, price change in Daegu and Gyeongbuk affects producer prices of oil price related service industries and major manufacturing industries, and customer prices of related service industries. However, the imported crude oil price change affects weakly on manufacturing producer price, and the magnitude of effects on customer price and producer price are smaller than service industry.
