초록
In this paper, we propose a method of controlling the door position using BEMF for a subway door system. The BEMF that is generated when brushed DC motor rotates, has a direct relation with the rotational speed. Using this relationship, the speed and the moving distance of a door can be estimated. While an encoder pulse is used for the motor control in many applications, the precise encoders with additional electri circuitry and mechanical parts increase the cost of the control system. Since the BEMF method requires only the voltage of the motor to be measured, it can be used without any additional circuit configuration, thereby reducing the cost. The method proposed in this paper establishes the relation between speed and BEMF through the automatic calibration algorithm without characteristic parameter of the motor and verifies its effectiveness through practical application.
