Abstract
This thesis is studying the life and faith of Kim, Nam Jo which have been activated as imagination. She published 15 poetical works from 'Life', the first work, to 'Soul and Heart'. Her first work 'Life' strongly reveals the life consciousness of human being that she was convinced from the experience of Korean Civil War. Afterward, the themes of her works are mainly on christian love like love for neighborhood or god's love. This is also involved in her religious background as a catholic from early age. She gives prominence to the harmony of faith and poetry. Therefore, it is confirmed that her literary imaginations are based on her life and her faith.
