초록
As the living environment becomes more prosperous, there is a growing desire among people to take care of themselves more than ever. Especially when people become middle aged, they tend to look back their lives. They want their broken hearts to be revived and cured once again through counseling because they had not been cured for a long time. They also want to have a plentiful spiritual actualization and psychological stability with their religion. Observing these phenomena of modern times, we have felt the need of necessity of a new counseling method to deal with the spiritual actualization and syntagmatically cure our psychical needs. For the calling of these times, I attempted to do a methodical integration between the spiritual leading and psychotherapy by using the four stages of Lectio Divina as a structural frame of counseling. Practicing Lectio Divina when reading the Bible, we hope to gain our spiritual maturity by meditation of the Word. Also we can gain an insight of the structure of our inner-being through the lense of the Word. Here I’d like to show how to practice the four stages of Lectio Divina and what is the outcome and effect of theological and psychical cure of the Lectio Divina. And I studied, analyzed, and modified the clinical experience both on the counselor’s and client’s stance, I attempted a methodical integration of spiritual leading and psychological cure. I want to make sure that what I mean by integration in this article does not mean to command a dual language to treat spirituality and psychology at the same time, but to cross and move frequently between two areas in one consulting structure. That is what I mean by integrating of two consulting methods. I hope this research would be utilized as a new counseling method by Christian counselors along with pastors who want to perform their work with Christian Identity.
