광역경제권역별 선도산업 육성과 대학의 산학협력 특성화 분석

본 연구는 권역별 선도산업 분야가 해당 권역 지역대학들의 산학협력 비교우위 분야 및 종합 특성화의 정도에 얼마나 부합하는지를 파악하는 것이 목적이다. 권역별 주요 우수대학에게 지원된 정부지원 연구개발비와 그 일부인 산학협동 연구비 자료의 분석을 통해 권역별 대학의 산학협동 연구에 있어서의 주요 기술 분야별 상대비교우위와 종합적인 특성화정도를 추정하였다. 이를 토대로 권역별 선도산업의 핵심기술 분야와의 부합성 여부를 서술적 차원에서 비교·분석하였다. 연구결과로서, 비교우위와 특성화에 입각한 지역대학들의 경쟁력 제고와 권역별 선도산업의 발전 가능성은 대체로 정(正)의 상관관계에 있는 것으로 추정된다. 이 두 가지 측면이 서로 얼마나 근접 혹은 일치하는가에 대한 논의는 지역대학과 지역산업은 물론 국가경제의 발전에 중요한 핵심 사항이다. 또한, 대학의 산학협동연구 활동의 수준과 내용은 권역별 소재 대학들의 특성에 따라 대체적으로 크게 다름을 발견하였다. 이러한 특성화 및 차별화는 권역별로 지향하려고 하는 선도산업의 기술적 분야와 비교적 부합하는 것으로 판단이 된다. 충청권과 동남권의 경우 어느 정도 보완의 필요성이 제기되지만, 전반적으로는 각 권역별 소재 대학들의 활발한 연구 활동과 이를 매개로 한 산학협동 혹은 산학협력의 활성화가 매우 기대된다.
Abstract
This study is for understanding how the regional leading industry should coincide compared superiority and overall particularity of regional universities in co-work programs between industries and university. These compared superiority and overall particularity have been studied by analyzing government-oriented research funds and the data of it in co-work programs between industry and university. Based on this, we have compared and analyzed the coincidence between core technology and the regional leading industry. The conclusion of this study is that the competiveness of regional university and the ability of regional leading industry accord in the compared superiority and overall particularity. However, the depth and contents of research of university in co-work programs between industry and university are very distinguished as the particularity of the regional universities. This particularity has matched with the field of leading technologies of the regional leading industry. Apart from the region of Chung-chung and South-East, the research of regional universities must be active and the co-work programs between industries and university must be developed.
