브렉시트 전후 영국-EU 간 이주 흐름의 구조적 변화: 세계체제이론 관점에서

본 논문에서는 노동이주에 관한 기존의 구조이론 중 하나인 세계체계이론을 EU에 적용하여 이해하고, 이를 통해 영국의 회원국 탈퇴가 양측 간 국가-사회-시장 차원에서 어떠한 구조적 변화를 초래하는지에 관하여 분석하였다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 분석시기를 2000년-2008년 중동유럽 EU 가입 전후 시기, 둘째, 2008년-2015년 유럽재정위기 이후, 셋째, 브렉시트 이후 현재까지의 시기로 구분하여 영국-EU 간 이주 흐름을 분석하였다. 즉 본 논문은 지역연합 - 지역사회 형성 - 지역단일시장 자유화에 의한 지역차원 구조적 변화에 따른 이주 흐름을 분석하고, 이의 역진 현상, 즉 통합의 단절에 따른 이주 흐름을 관측하고, 이에 영향을 미치는 구조적 변화를 분석함에 의의를 둔다.
Abstract
This paper aims to understand the world system theory among the existing structural theories on labor migration by applying it to the EU. This study analyzed the structural changes of Brexit on both sides at the national-social-market level. This study divided the analysis period into the period before and after the EU membership in the Middle East from 2000 to 2008, after the European fiscal crisis in 2008 to 2015, and the period after Brexit. In conclusion, this study analyzed the migration flow according to the regional structural changes by liberalizing the regional single market.,This paper is meaningful in observing migration flow due to the inverse progress of integration and analyzing structural changes affecting it.
