한국의 동유럽 원자력발전 산업 진출을위한 제언

Abstract

In international society, based on the recognition that the only way for reducing greenhouse gas and simultaneously meeting the needs of it is the nuclear power generation, exporting countries of nuclear power are now moving much more aggressively and promptly. In the past, due to technical barriers, a competitive bid, which is provided only by a few suppliers, was universal. But recently, private contracts owing to an agreement between governments and contracts with a form of ‘package’ including the construction of nuclear facilities and the hiring and training of human resources has become more common. The inclination that ordering countries sometimes demand a mass scale of funding has added a meaning of social composite, entangling economies, politics, security to the nuclear power industry. Therefore, for the success of the Korean nuclear power industry, we should clearly recognize our strengths and weakness in the world market and Eastern Europe area. Then, we should establish strategies for overcoming obstacles on the following essentials: - Strengthening the ability in supplying funds - Cost reduction with development of technology - Improvement of the operating stability and credibility on the construction - Development of ‘smart’ reactor enabling flexibility to the targets - Expansion of market by networking with relative services and industries - Building the customized or collaborated proposals to the projects - Making strategic partnership with even competitors - Establishment of the relative legal infrastructure
