Abstract
This study systematized the oriental thought that Carl Jung was interested in, and it was understood how the symbol of ‘The sexty-four trigrams(六十四卦)’ of Change(易) influenced analytical psychology. This revealed the principle of Change which influenced analytical psychology. As a result, we revealed the core of human psychology based on the symbol of ‘The sexty-four program’ of Change and the unconsciousness of analytical psychology. The purpose of the study is to compare and analyze at the mutual level of the Department of Analytical Psychology ‘The Book of Change’. Research tools include Carl Jung's ‘Phyological Types’ and ‘The Book of Change’. Thus, as a way to reach the research method and direction, it combines the psychological type and the symbolism of ‘Change’ based on the two documents. This reveals how human psychology appears as a human prototype in the symbol of ‘the Book of Change’. Thus, we have identified how the symbol ‘The sexty-four trigrams’ affects the unconsciousness of analytical psychology. As a result, human psychology reveals reciprocity as it conforms to the meaning of Change. In that way, the symbol in The sexty-four trigrams of Change supports the psychological type of analytical psychology because it is a stepping stone of human prototype. Human psychological forms encompass personality, process of life, hope, and hope, and thus extroverts deny themselves because they cause imagination as a fact of objectification. Introverts, on the other hand, are merely states of existence because they lead to the manifestation of their unimaginable self. The unconscious, therefore, is introverted by the conscious desire, which is where the subjectivity is revealed, so it focuses only on the desire to suppress. Change refers to ‘the glad ultimate(太極)’, ‘four symbol(四象)’, ‘the eight trigrams(八卦)’, and ‘the sexty-four trigrams(六十四卦)’ in the beginning. Therefore, ‘the positive and negative(陰陽)’ repeats the phenomenon of complement as relativity rather than absoluteness. Also, The sexty-four trigrams are linked to creativity because of the continuous action of change. The ‘teight trigrams(小成卦)’ and ‘The sexty-four trigrams(大成卦)’ are repetitively circulating. This is in line with the spiritual world that has left the constraints of time and space, for example, eternity and ubiquitousness of the mind transcend time and space. In the end, creativity is driven by the need of the unconscious world, along with loneliness. It is a form of lack of relationships caused by social maladjustment. So the schizophrenia of the abnormal person is the clarity caused by the lack of artistic imagination.
