In July 2007, Korea established new market review regulations. The regulations will great influence on competition enlargement and competition structure on telecommunication market. To get effective results of market review, rationality, predictability, and flexibility of policy required. In addition, proactively, market review need to apply based on reasonable competing philosophies and competition law. Therefore, in this paper, we study market review of some major countries, review focused on law and systems. In conclusion, Korea's market review regulations are as good as some major countries such as U.S, U.K, Australia, and EU as theoretical aspects of market review indicators or definition of unit market. On the other hand, results show that public consultation system for ensuring transparency and objectivity are very weak.
