본 연구는 우리나라 양묘산업의 기상재해 피해 상황을 분석하고 이에 대한 대비책을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 양묘산업의 대표적인 기상재해는 풍수해, 한해 그리고 상동해로 조사되었다. 1981년도부터 2007년도까지 지난 27년 동안 기상재해로 입은 약 3억본의 묘목 중 풍수해 피해가 58.7%로 가장 높은 비율이며, 다음으로 한해가 25.7%, 상동해가 15.6%로 조사되었다. 지역별로는 경남, 경북, 강원도 순으로 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 강원도는 대부분 풍수해로 조사되었으나 경남, 경북은 풍수해뿐만 아니라, 한해, 상동해 피해도 전국적으로 높은 비율로 발생되었다. 특히, 한해는 경상남·북도와 전라남·북도 모두 많이 발생하였는데, 이는 그동안 우리나라 남부지방의 봄 가뭄 등이 원인으로 판단된다. 한편 풍수해 및 한해 피해는 그 해 내렸던 강수량과 밀접한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 조사되었다.
Abstract
This study was carried out to analyse the meteorological disasters in Korean nursery industry, and to present the preparation against the disasters. Typical meteorological disasters were storm and flood damage, drought damage and cold damage. Since 1981 to 2007, 30 million of seedlings had been damaged by meteorological disasters. Among the disasters storm and flood damage was the highest as 58.7%, and 25.7% by drought damage and 15.6% by cold damage. Disasters in Gangwon-do was most of storm and flood damage, however, not only storm and flood damage but also drought and cold damage had frequently occurred in Gyeongsangnam-do and Gyeonggangbuk-do. In particular, drought damage had also occurred in Jeollabuk-do and Jeollanamdo which was caused by spring drought in southern part of Korea. On the other hand storm and flood damage and drought damage were closely correlated with the annual precipitation.
