초록

In this study, we first constructed multiple seasonal land cover maps using drone orthoimagery for the Sinduri Coastal Dune. These maps were then utilized to analyze seasonal land cover changes and to identify the relationship between the land cover changes and seasonal climate characteristics. Our results show that the increase in average temperatures during spring, summer, and autumn led to an expansion of dune grassland by enhancing vegetation activity, while the decrease in average summer precipitation reduced the area of vegetated sand dune by limiting the growth of dune vegetation. Given the current climate trend over the past 24 years, including an increase in average temperature and a decrease in summer precipitation, these land cover change patterns are likely to persist in the future. While previous studies have analyzed land cover changes by focusing on artificial factors, this study provides fundamental insights by emphasizing natural seasonal cycles in the context of climate change which is based on climate statistics. The results can be used as a basis for identifying changes in coastal dune land cover due to various factors in the future.
