본 연구는 황금세기 스페인 시인들에게 나타난 고전 신화 수용 양상을 살펴보는 데 있다. 기존의 연구들과 달리 저본의 내용을 살피고, 이후 시인들이 어떠한 면에서 모방이, 또 어떠한 면에서 시인만의 독창성이 있는 지를 비교 분석하는 일이다. 이를 위해 가장 인용도가 높은 신화적 인물 세 쌍을, 시대를 대표하는 세 명의 시인의 작품을 대상으로 삼는다.
Abstract
In this study we would like to investigate how Greek mythology has been adapted and renewed in the works of the Spanish poets of the Golden Age, by means of a comparison between the original version and the recreated ones. We will maintain our focus on three couples among the mythological characters, Orpheus and Eurydice, Pyramus and Thisbe, and Hero and Leander, who are the most frequently called up by literary writers. In this regard, we will analyze some of the works of poetry of those who are the most representative of that time, that is, the works of Garcilaso de la Vega, Luis de Góngora and Francisco de Quevedo.
