풍력산업 유관 기업의 재무 현황 분석을 통한 개선방안에 관한 연구

· 연구 주제: 본 연구는 친환경 에너지 생산의 중심인 풍력산업 중 세계 해상풍력 시장의 밝은 성장 전망과 우리 정부의 의욕적인 발전 정책이 제시되는 실정에서 국내 해상풍력의 도입 상황과 해상풍력 발전 관련 기업의 재무상태를 분석함으로써 동 분야의 기업이 근본적으로 갖추어야 할 재무적 문제점과 개선방안에 대해 제시하고자 하였다. · 연구 배경: 최근 환경과 에너지 분야에 대한 국제적 관심이 높아지는 가운데 이 분야에 대한 국내 기업의 발전 가능성과 기술력을 뒷받침할 수 있는 재무적 상황을 고찰하고 이에 대한 개선방안을 제시함으로써 국제 경쟁력을 갖는 기업으로 육성할 수 있는 필요성이 높아지고 있다. · 선행연구와의 차이점: 선행연구는 주로 풍력발전 설비와 기술에 대한 분석, 생산원가에 대한 분석이 대다수를 이루고 있지만 기업들의 재무적 상황에 대한 분석이 부재한 실정에서 이를 지원하고 경영자가 중점을 두어야 할 재무상태가 어떤 부분인지를 제시하는 것이 차별점이다. · 연구방법: 분석대상은 한국풍력산업협회 회원 기업과 유관 부품생산기업을 대상으로 2017년부터 2019년 동안의 주요 재무지표와 지역별 차이에 대해 분석하였다. · 연구결과: 분석 결과, 국내 해상풍력관련 기업들의 수익성은 지속적으로 하락하고 있어 동 분야의 밝은 시장전망에 비해 부진한 성과를 나타냈다. 또한 동 분야의 높은 원가율로 인해 대기업 중심의 구조적 환경에서 유관 중소・중견 기업들의 이익탄력성은 매우 민감하여 최근의 수익성 하락에 맞춰 재정적 어려움을 겪고 있었으며, 지속적인 연구개발비 투자로 국제적인 표준에 맞는 기술과 부품의 개발이 이루어져야 함에도 재정적인 문제로 인해 R&D 투자가 이루어지지 못하는 실정이다. · 공헌점 및 기대효과: 동 연구결과에 따라서 대기업 중심에서 중소기업 중심의 산업 구조 개선과 원가 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 방안을 마련해야 하며, 정부 주도의 대기업과 협력적 R&D 투자와 기술 및 부품 개발에 대한 투자지원이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
Abstract
· Research topics: This study aims to present financial problems and improvement plans that companies in this field should fundamentally have by analyzing the introduction of domestic offshore wind power and the financial status of companies related to offshore wind power generation in the situation that bright growth prospects of global offshore wind power market and the government's ambitious development policy are presented among the wind power industry. · Research background: Recently, as international interest in the environment and energy sector has increased, the need to foster the company as an international competitive company is increasing by examining the financial situation that can support the development potential and technology of domestic companies in this field and suggesting improvement plans for it. · Differences from prior research: Previous studies mainly analyze wind power generation facilities and technologies and analyze production costs, but it is different to support them in the absence of analysis of financial situation of companies and to suggest what part of financial condition that managers should focus on. · Research method: The subjects of the analysis were the member companies of the Korea Wind Power Industry Association and related parts manufacturing companies, and the major financial indicators and regional differences between 2017 and 2019 were analyzed. · Research results: As a result of the analysis, the profitability of domestic offshore wind power companies has been steadily declining, showing sluggish results compared to the bright market outlook in this field.,In addition, due to the high cost ratio of the field, the profitability of related small and medium-sized companies is very sensitive in the structural environment centered on large corporations, and they are experiencing financial difficulties in line with the recent decline in profitability. In addition, R&D investment is not possible due to financial problems even though technology and parts that meet international standards should be developed through continuous investment in R&D., · Contribution points and expected effects: Therefore, it is necessary to prepare measures to improve the industrial structure centered on SMEs and increase cost competitiveness in large corporations, and to support investment in cooperative R&D investment with government-led large corporations and technology and parts development.
